It bears the name of a small, endangered migratory bird, the Zorzal or Bicknell's Thrush, whose preservation it helps to ensure. The cacao trees in this verdant valley produce exceptional organic cacao with a beautiful, intense cocoa flavor.

For us, enhancing this cocoa has a special meaning because it was in the Dominican Republic that our beautiful adventure began in 2012. This 100% bar has a lovely balanced bitterness with woody and plum notes and a very silky texture.
