Where is lavender honey made?
Lavender, so recognizable by its exceptional scent and its purple spikes, grows mainly in the sunny parts of France.
It is therefore in regions such as the Alpes de Haute Provence, Vaucluse, Var, and Drôme that this species of flower is easily found. It is in the spring that the first lavender flowers appear. Flowering can last until August. It is during this entire period that bees gather nectar from the flowers and make lavender honey.
