Dip your spoon directly into a jar of Martine Lavender Honey or enjoy it on your toast.

This honey, emblematic of our region, is generally harvested in July when the fields are covered in a purple color which makes the landscapes sublime.

THE Martine Lavender Honey has a sweet taste with a powerful and aromatic flavor and has many virtues.

Natural honey can be made from many species of flowers. The specificities of each depend largely on the nectar from which it was made.

Lavender flowers, well known in the perfume industry for their intense aroma, are pollinated by bees that produce a creamy and delicate honey. Miel Martine introduces you to lavender honey.

Where is lavender honey made?

Lavender, so recognizable by its exceptional scent and its purple spikes, grows mainly in the sunny parts of France.

It is therefore in regions such as the Alpes de Haute Provence, Vaucluse, Var, and Drôme that this species of flower is easily found. It is in the spring that the first lavender flowers appear. Flowering can last until August. It is during this entire period that bees gather nectar from the flowers and make lavender honey.

The specificities of lavender honey

The purple hue of lavender flowers creates a honey with a clear and limpid color. Its intense smell gives the honey a fine and generous aroma. Thanks to its pearly white color, lavender honey is, among other types of honey, particularly recognizable. A glance is enough to spot it on the shelves of grocery stores.

In terms of its texture, lavender honey is known for being a smooth, soft and mellow honey . Its taste is often very fruity, tasty and refined. Its fragrance is very subtle, intense and delicate.

Miel Martine lavender honey is 100% natural and produced with respect for the environment .
