Goût Russe 7 Citrus is a superb blend of black teas and citrus fruits, evoking lemon, lime, sweet orange, bitter orange, grapefruit, bergamot and mandarin.

Created by Palais des Thés in its early years, this cocktail of 7 citrus fruits was then available on other tea bases in reference to the Slavic specialty and its fragrant Russian taste.

Different from the teas that grow in Georgia, Russian Tastes are teas consumed regularly in Russia since the 17th century. Originally blends of Chinese black teas, the teas consumed by the Russians diversified with the arrival at the end of the 19th century of teas from India - Darjeeling in particular - at the Russian court. We have since become accustomed to calling Goût Russe any mixture of different Chinese black teas and Darjeeling, flavored or not with natural citrus essences.
