This organic turmeric grows in the rich, fertile volcanic soil of Guadeloupe. It boasts ochre hues tending towards orange and releases an enchanting aroma of pear, quince, and cinnamon. On the palate, it dazzles with flavors of guava, a spiciness reminiscent of ginger and pepper, and mineral notes.
This turmeric arrives dry and unground. Each week, a small quantity is ground in Shira to ensure unparalleled freshness and the best of its aromatic range.
