Make your matcha in the Japanese tradition with this introductory set consisting of a bowl, a whisk and a spatula.

The matcha initiation box contains all the accessories necessary for preparing matcha tea in accordance with Japanese tradition: 1 bowl, 1 whisk and 1 spatula.
The wooden spatula allows you to take the exact quantity of matcha.
The traditional “Chasen” whisk is used to beat tea powder in water to obtain a creamy, well-emulsified foam.
The “Chawan” bowl allows, thanks to its circular shape, optimal preparation of matcha tea and then delicious tasting.

Preparing matcha
Unlike all other teas, matcha is a tea whose leaves have been reduced to a very fine powder. This green tea is therefore not infused but beaten. It is prepared using a whisk, a bowl and a spatula.
Invigorating and powerful, matcha should be drunk immediately, in order to feel all the vegetal notes and its subtle bitterness.
1 - Put 2 spatulas (i.e. 1 level teaspoon) of matcha in a large bowl.
2 - Pour 7 cl of water heated to 70°C onto the powder.
3 - Holding the bowl with one hand, beat the mixture using a whisk, using a jerky motion (forming a "W"), until you obtain a well-emulsified foam.
Once the matcha is frothy, enjoy it.
