Washi box 100g - Palais des Thés

Coming from Japanese craftsmanship, the washi boxes are covered by hand with traditional mulberry paper.

The washi boxes are equipped with a double lid offering perfect conservation of the tea.

The bright red paper of the Golden Plum box is adorned with golden patterns representing tortoise shells which symbolize longevity, and plum blossoms which bloom in Japan at the end of winter and are a symbol of hope.

The Festive Ichimatsu Box takes its name from the green and gold checkerboard that covers it, which is a traditional Japanese pattern named after the actor Sanogawa Ichimatsu who regularly wore such checkerboards on his costumes.
