Madeleine de Souvré, better known as Marquise de Sablé, introduced the petit shortbread in July 1670 at the court of the great Condé. She introduced a multitude of small round biscuits to the king's brother who was won over by these sweets. Le Petit Sablé was born. It is this story that we find in the good taste of our real Little Shortbreads made with pure fresh butter.

All these biscuits are made in an artisanal way by the Master Pastry Chefs of the La Sablésienne biscuit factory who use noble ingredients such as good fresh butter and free-range eggs.
