Encuentro: a French brand that promotes artisanal chocolate

Founded by Camille and Antoine, two chocolate and sustainable agriculture enthusiasts, Encuentro places transparency and respect at the heart of its project. Each bar is the result of close collaboration with cocoa producers. These beans, selected for their exceptional quality, are then transformed in France, in their workshop. 

This bean-to-bar label, which means "from the bean to the bar", is actually very rare: in France, a country with more than 3,000 chocolatiers, barely 2% of them are "bean to bar" artisans, or barely a hundred. Among these rare exceptions, we find names like Bonnat, Pralus, Bernachon or Ducasse. Chocolate legends, who are an integral part of our heritage. But ultimately, the observation for the world of chocolate is quite sad: three giants of the industry control and decide the taste of almost all the chocolate you consume every day. Whether it's at your baker, your pastry chef, your chocolatier, or even in that restaurant you love so much. Imagine that one of these behemoths was capable, in the space of... 10 minutes, of producing the equivalent of Encuentro's annual production!
